In 2005 a remarkable partnership resulted in the transformation of the agency-supplier relationship in the tourism industry. Sujit Nair and B.A. Rahim took the bold first steps of becoming the consolidator for a destination management company (DMC) in Mauritius for the Indian market. This was the birth of the Akquasun Group, which in a few short years developed into a global destination management company. With a network of offices strategically placed throughout the world, Akquasun now caters to some of the larger emerging and established tourism markets. Aimed at streamlining its services, Akquasun Group has restructured its business globally.
